The Kashmir Files Storyline

The Kashmir Files is an upcoming film that throws light on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s which led to the forceful emigration of several Hindus from the Kashmir valley. The film focuses on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits and investigates into one of the biggest human tragedies in Independent India.
The Kashmiri Pandits had to move out of Kashmir due to an atmosphere of fear and terror created by the increase in independence seeking militant groups and Islamic Insurgents in the 1990s who opposed the Hindu Kashmiri Pandits and wanted to create an Islamic state. The Kashmiri Hindu communities observe 19 January as the ‘Exodus Day’. The movie is inspired by true life events and is sure to have a gripping story line.
